AURAI SWIMWEAR is the first eco & ethical swimwear brand in New Zealand, created by italo-brazilian designer Natalia Bertolo. AURAI pieces are made using recycled nylon (from old carpets, recovered fish nets and other plastic industrial waste) or biodegradable polyamide, a revolutionary new yarn that biodegrade in an anaerobic environment, common in most landfills, within 5 years after disposal. Also, prints are made using water and toxin-free techniques and trims are chrome and nickel-free for the most sensitivity skins. Good stuff!
