Salt Gypsy surfwear is now made from a 100% regenerated nylon yarn called ECONYL® which is a longer lasting, more durable recycled nylon lycra and is responsibly manufactured here in Australia.
To date, Salt Gypsy is independent and self-funded having started with zero capital and one idea. The New Zealand-born creator of the original bespoke surf legging and founder, Danielle Clayton, currently runs Salt Gypsy from Byron Bay, Australia.
